Short Story in Gulf Stream #10

Welcome Home, Jackie Nolan was one of the first [good] short stories I wrote after my 10-year post-collegiate writing hiatus. I'm really excited to see it finally get published, and best of all, it's online for you to read in its entirety. It's about a southern man who is not too thrilled to see his father-in-law getting released from prison (and the subject of my previous blog post about merciless editing).Gulf Stream Literary Magazine #10 debuts today, and in addition to my short story, it features interviews with Junot Diaz, Richard Blanco and Cristina Garcia, essays, poetry, lovely artwork and more short stories. Enjoy!
